Mr Edward Bergman, the Executive Director of the Africa Travel Association today welcomed Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture at the Association’s Headquarters at Madison Avenue in New York.
Also present at the meeting between the Africa Travel Association (ATA) and the Seychelles Minister was Ms Andrea Papitto, responsible for Trade Relations and Communications at the Association.
Minister St.Ange of the Seychelles was briefed about the benefits for Tourism Destinations to become members of the Africa Travel Association (ATA). Mr Bergman spoke about the next General Assembly of the Association that is set for later this year in Uganda and he invited the Seychelles Minister to consider attending the General Assembly and to get involved with the Africa Travel Association.
The discussions also centered on the Seychelles hosting the 2015 General Assembly of the Africa Travel Association (ATA).
Minister Alain St.Ange said that he appreciated being received at the Headquarters of the Africa Travel Association (ATA). He said that he found the discussions interesting and that he better understood the importance of working with the Africa Travel Association (ATA) to help on the America Market.
The Seychelles Minister also invited Mr Edward Bergman of the Africa Travel Association (ATA) to be in Seychelles for the historic October meeting called by the UNWTO & ICAO for Tourism and Transport Ministers.
