New head honcho at African Travel


DELRAY BEACH, Florida – African Travel, Inc.’s current President, Jim Holden, had previously announced his plans to resign effective in July.

“I’ve truly enjoyed my time at African Travel, Inc. and I wish the team my very best,” said Holden. “I am confident they will be in great hands under Sherwin’s new leadership.”

Today, African Travel, Inc. announced the appointment of Sherwin Banda as President effective August 2015. Banda, who was born and raised in Cape Town, has spent nearly 15 years in the international hospitality industry including positions in South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Southern California. In his current position as General Manager of The Table Bay Hotel, Banda’s strategic leadership has resulted in revenue growth of 60% in Cape Town’s highly competitive hospitality industry.
