The 5th International Symposium and Annual Conference of Partners of the Global Partnership for Sustainable Tourism will be held February 23rd-25th 2014, at the Windhoek Country Club & Resort, in Namibia.
The event is hosted by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of the Government of the Republic of Namibia, in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Government of France, the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco, the Hospitality Association of Namibia, the Tour and Safari Association of Namibia and Eco-Awards Namibia.
The 5th International Symposium (February 23rd 2015) is open to the public and features international and regional sustainable tourism experts and practitioners.
A High-Level Forum will feature Ministers of Tourism discussing “Tourism sector’s contribution to National Development Priorities”. Confirmed participants are:
• Hon. Uahekua Herunga, Minister of Environment & Tourism, Namibia
• Hon. Alain St. Ange, Minister of Tourism & Culture, The Seychelles
• Hon. Derek Hanekom, Minister of Tourism, South Africa.
